Well, after strolling around Knoppix and Damn Small Linux I foud this;

Haven't tried it yet, seems a bit like AROS..

I've tryied it some months ago. It was extremely slow on my PIII/550. It uses the UAE's 68K emulation engine, but without the JIT I guess. Sourceforge was ok some hours ago, and I downloaded the sourcecode, but I will probably not touch it soon.

Yeah, I've tried it... once you try it you realise why no human alive bothered to use GEM :-)
