Hi, I'm Helen, my Dad bought an A500 back in the old days, and in time I saved up and bought a CD32. Sadly I had to sell it to raise the funds for an A1200 (Saturday jobs don't generate that much cash!). These days I have two A1200's sitting in storage (they don't seem to work too well, sadly), and I just bought a CD32 on eBay. Hasn't come yet, but I'm going to be needing some advice. Hopefully there are some CD32 users around here! Anyway, that's about it. :)

Welcome aboard!
The cd32 is a cool machine, an ppl here are sure to help out with any queries..
But it seems a shame not to have those other two machines up and running...
i assume that its hardware problems rather than soft; but, those machines are quite robust, so they maybe able to be resurrected???
@ tangletown
Yes, many ppl assume that there aren’t ANY women in Leicester.
And that, like Dwarves or Orks, the Leicestrians just spring from the ground...
This of course isn`t true....

If you have a CD32 you have to visit this website http://www.cd32-allianz.de/ unfortunately (for you) it`s only in german, but it hosts a nearly complete list of all titles that ever came out for the CD32, with boxscans etc.

Thats good to know.
I also own a CD32 with around 30 games.
Microcosm and All Terrain racing are 2 of my favs with Rise Of The Robots being the worst.

Back to the Roots has many CD32 ISO image files that you can burn to a CD. These are LEGAL downloads. Of course you'l need software that will burn a ISO image.

@blobrana
How can you be so sure? We all have beards round Leicester and sing about gold...
Actually, I was commenting more on the fact that the poster was from Leicester, and decided to go for a bit of alliteration in the process. Sorry if I offended you!

:pint: Seeing as no one yet has had the courtesy, the first one's on me.
Welcome aboard, by the way.

When you said "make your own" CD32 games, did you mean burning existing games from ISO's or creating new ones from scratch (programming your own games)?
Also, does anyone here have the cable that connects the CD32 to the Amiga? I really *really* want it.

LOL, I hadn't noticed that people had posted, hehe. I thought you were all ignoring me. :) Well, we nearly have all the things replaced from the break-in. As for the Amigas... I don't know what's up with them. I will begin a new thread I think to discuss this. :)

It's a funny story... :-D
Today I've turned on my CD32 after at least five years (I bought it on 1994)... and I've played with all my old games, FANTASTIC! I've thought to be mad... but after playing with it I've read your message, so... I'm not alone
Welcome!
Alex
