Title: A2091 scsi card RAM installation
Post by: Azryl on March 29, 2005, 01:23:34 AM
Okies, silly question I know, but where do you start placing RAM into sockets?

I want to add the first 512k onto the card (thats all the ram chips I have so far salvaged from an old isa video card)

do I place them from U14 to U17 (logical)
or from U29 to U26
or from U29 to U17

All the web based information I have found so far neglects to mention WHERE the ram goes :-)

In numerical order.

Mind the orientation! The chips will fry immediately on powerup if you insert them backwards.
