Title: Can Cyberstorm PPC cards be fixed? Where (don't mention DCE)?
Post by: awe4k on March 27, 2005, 01:50:44 PM
Hi,

I have a CSPPC from DCE in my 4000. It has the 604e/233MHz. It has never ever worked properly (almost all PPC software will crash). I was about to send it to DCE for fixing, but I was warn about DCE's repair "service", which basicly consists of collecting damaged PPC cards in a cabinet and never doing anything with them (not even returning them to their legitimate owners).

So, if I have a faulty CSPPC, do I stand any chance of having it fixed somewhere?

Thanks.

This may be a stupid question, but are you absolutely sure the software setup has been correct?

Amiga Centre in France can fix it.
Or you can sell it to me  :-D
