Title: Scsi 06 chip
Post by: Azryl on March 27, 2005, 05:40:50 AM
Hiya, I found on one of my A2091 scsi cards

its details are

WD33C93B-PL
00-06  9540 E
41933A2-1921

I have heard of commodore using 04 and 08 scsi chips inside A3000 and on the A2091 cards

Should I replace the 04 inside my A3000 with this 06 ?
anyone think there is any bonus in doing so?

Az

I think the 06 corrected minor timing errors in the 04.
But if your 3000 already works fine with your HD, then
you'll probably see no difference.
