Title: ppc.library question?
Post by: MikeB on March 03, 2003, 10:04:46 PM
I'v been asked by Hyperion if i have an MMU or NON MMU version of my PPC.Library.
How can you tell?

I'm running version 46.31 (Thurs 2 March 2000) by Ralph Schmidt on a CyberstormPPC 604e card.

oops my mistake.

ok, my version of the pci.library is v5.9 written by Pawel Stypula and Elbox 2002.

So i assume most Mediator users have this version.

If someone can help if they know what version is a MMU or NON MMU

ok here goes (please pay attention you at the back) :-D :-D :-D

1) there is no MMU or NO-MMU versions of the pci.library

a) its all controlled by the Mediator/MMU env-var

2) if you have a 4000-type version it's always in NO-MMU mode since the 4000 versions already have access to the total PCI address-range (address-range her used loosely)
