Title: Quikpak 4060 software
Post by: x56h34 on March 22, 2005, 07:38:59 PM
Does anyone know if the Quikpak 4060 (http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=220) accelerator works with standard Phase 5 libraries?

I'm asking since this is the only accelerator card that benefits from EDO memory usage. I am not sure if the original cpu libraries written by Jeff Boyer were specifically designed for EDO memory usage in mind, or if it doesn't matter whether you use the original Quikpak supplied or the Phase 5 libraries. Any tips?

Furthermore, does anyone have a DMS or an ADF archive of the original floppy disks that were supplied with this accelerator?

Many thanks in advance.

You might want to check out my old website here:

http://web.archive.org/web/19990921113812/www.uoguelph.ca/~develand/amiga/quikpak.html

I had alot of information on my page about the quikpak accelerator.  I might even have the disks at home, I will check for you.

I still have my website and I might put it back online soon. (I should... :) But thanks to the way back machine you can see most of it still.

@HammerD:

That would be great. I'd appreciate it if you could check it out and see if you have those disks.

Unfortunately I can't check the archived site from work (where I am at right now) as the page is blocked by the firewall. :-(
