>MAI: "Ready for IBM Technology"
Perhaps IBM will ask Eyetech to bundle "Ready For IBM Technology" sticker with each Articia based motherboards. This sticker is similar to........ "INTEL INSIDE!" :-)
We live in a strange world. Imagine if MS- Amiga Inc agree to port Windows CE to PowerPC platform (A1) and run Amiga DE on top of Windows CE for PowerPC!
Another strange news yesterday:
Swiss, a land locked country (without any beach or port or navy) won the prestigious "American Cup" (Sailing competition). The leader of the Swiss team is the former captain on NZ Team and Swiss is defeating NZ team in Auckland, NZ.
There is a tradition that the winner will host the next "American Cup" competition. How to host "Sailing competition" in Swiss? :-)
Second strange news: A famous sketch by Dali (Half Million Dollar!) was stolen from a Jail Loby.
Question:
1. Who have the crazy idea of putting expensive sketch (with gold frame) in the lobby of a jail full of thieves?
2. The sketch is put beside a guard post and guarded all year long by warden. How can the thief steal the sketch?
3. If they lost a sketch, will they also lost "inmates" in the future? :-)

Dali was a bit of a loony. He held a lecture on surrealism in the 30s dressed in a diving suit and accompanied by two wolfhounds. He almost suffocated.
Now that's art.

The story about the Dali picture continous.
Swiss teletext wrote, that it was exchanged with a copy :-D :-D . AND the picture was given by Dali hinself to the jail, because he had to hold a speach, but catched a caught and gave the picture as compensation.

@ KennyR:
UHH... just noticed you're from Wishaw.... for a true snooker fan, this means that you must bump into John Higgins quite often, isn't it ? (the Wizard of Wishaw). Absolutely off topic, I know... but it's a strange world in wich a froggy knows where a snooker player lives (in France, snooker is nonexistent). :-o
[sorry for my poor english]
