Hi,

Looks like CDMaster32 (http://www.zittware.com/Products/CDMaster32/Tutorials/mod_conversion.html) will do all of what you require.

Can't say I've tried it as I prefer my MODs to be authentic and played on real Amiga hardware!

Regards,

Modplug Tracker is a great program for playing, Creating, editing and converting .mod files.

Try Finding  MOD2WAV

I use to use it and it worked great!   Problem is.I cant find it anymore

It converts Mods into wavs and then you just drop the Wav intp NERO and it converts it on the Fly and just burn it

By the way MODPLUG for WinAMP lets you play MODS on  a PC, But I guess your trying to make a MOD Audio CD to play in your car :-)

I also believe there is a utility on the amiga that converts MODS into a Sound sample (IFF) then you can convert it to WAV with DSS8+ 3.0

You could also render the mods to AIFF or WAV using OctaMED SoundStudio or DigiBooster (not tried the latter for this but given it uses AHI, I don't see a problem using filesave.audio).

Once you have your PCM data you can convert that to MP3.

If you are a bit of an audiophile, read on...

I've done this with SoundStudio before. To get the best results, you might want to play with some of the samples (in particular increasing their sample rate, conversion to 16-bit, tidying etc) so that you can use mix mode at 44.1kHz with smoothing etc. Low sample rate sounds get very filtered at 44kHz with smoothing and can end up very muffled. Good for some samples, but way bad for anything supposed to sound bright - resample all those to at least double the rate (then transpose their instrument properties down an octave).

If you are really fussy, you can convert *all* the samples to stero too, then basically set the balance of each one (set the channel pan to centre) - great for drumkit sounds. Also you can make stereo chorus / delay effects with others this way, all of which eliminates that basic "4 channel extreme stereo" sound.

The end result can sound really nice if you take your time to prepare the mod file slightly (as described above).

if your already using delitracker, then the 14bit noteplayer can also be used to save the mod as a sample.
in this way you can add basic reverb effects if the mod takes well to them and adjust panning as well as playing them back at high frequency rate for highest quality.

Might take some processing power so the noteplayer has option to knock the playback frequency right down to be less then real time in order for the sampler to keep up.
the saved file can then be cd quality ready to burn or mp3.

Use Deliplayer's streamrecording function.  Deliplay is simple to download and use...

If you have a PC, then I would suggest that you use ModPlug save the files in WAV, and then use an encoder like LAME to convert it to MP3.

The latest version of modplug tracker save`s directly to mp3, So no need for conversion.
