Title: IDE fix problems!

I have a 4 way ide adapter to run my hard drives ect, but recantly my cd drive has stopped working. I have the approperate file is dos drivers with the righ unit number but it only reads an old amiga format cd (34, none after that) Any ideas what to do?

Er... get a new CD drive? Sounds like it's toast.

EDIT: Actually, first make sure no connections have come loose, and verify your software settings once more.

tested the drive in my pc and its fine. I get the same problem on an other cd drive.
