Title: CyberVision64 Jumpers/Manual
Post by: Brian on March 13, 2005, 01:42:28 PM
I got a CyberVision64 card that I want to use in a A3000, Buster7, DMAC2, Kick1.4 but to do that I see I need to change some jumpers (http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=463) on the card but no jumpers on the card are marked so I have no way of knowihng what is what. If anyone have a scan of the manual for the CyberVision64 (not the 3D) or any other information that can help then I'd be very happy if you shared it with me.

I just scanned the page that depicts the position of the jumpers.

with SB7, set the JP1 in "Slow Buster Mode" and it should work.

JP1=Closed

Sadly the card refuced to work at all with SuperBuster7 but luckily (?) there was an A4000 with sockled Buster11 in the garage so *butcher*butcher* and now the CV64+A3000 combo works. :)

eh i know Brian . . .even if "someone" claims that was possible to use it with SB7!

I have used it with SB9 (now 11) in Slow mode in an A4K.

Bye :-)

btw . . . its a plain 030 or with a CPU card?

Does the jumper "slow buster" influence the performance of the CV3D in a A4k with a errmm slow buster (SB 9)?

Thats curious...
I have the CV64 card in my A3k (no upgraded chips).
It works fine, no problems at all.

Well I gues so. If not what would be the point of making it jumperable instead of makeing it hardwired ?

@mendark

We are speaking about CV64 (not 3D).

No noticeable speed loss in SlowBuster mode. Its a matter of timings not performances.
