Title: Is there any web browser that is able to display javascript menus?
Post by: awe4k on March 08, 2005, 08:37:15 AM
Well, I think the question is enough self-explaning. I maintain 2 websites, and I am quite disappointed because I cannot browse them from the Amiga.

Thanks!

aWeb usually can, though I dunno about your sites.
Unfortunately, the Amiga web-browsers totally suck.

It is probable that the problems are not so much the fault of javascript but the lack of proper CSS support. A lot of javascript menus rely heavily on modifying the style properties of divider tags and stuff to generate menus (wrote a few myself for work), position, show and hide them.

Hmmm... Now, that makes sense. The fact itself sucks though.  :-(

Once again, we have a computer with the capabilities to do something, but no one took the pain to produce the appropriate software.

OH!  :pissed:
