Hey Yo!
I recently got back into the wonders of OctaMED again. I was wondering what are the top mods/meds/etc for OctaMED?
Regards,

Hi,
Please, don't take it as a personal matter, but I consider your question to be excessively generic. If you asked what is the best musician ever, I don't think your question would have one answer, but rather thousands.
I suggest that you specify what type of MOD music you like, and then there might be more answers in the thread. Can't mix-up rock and reggae, for instance; you have to be specific.
Regards.

How about what are the best at showing off what OctaMED can do? Or the best at illustrating how to achieve a certain effect?
I remember the first time I discovered I could load the tunes from Flashback into MED... it gave me a great insight into how best to use some of the features and things.

The best place to look would be Aminet, there's all sorts of modules to download. Alternatively if you can get hold of Aminet CD 8 it's devoted mostly to music mods, including Octamed ones.

I remember using OctaMED v4 that was released as a coverdisk for CU amiga i believe. I may have the original disk at my home state.
Its tuff to say what are some good musics. Remember, everyone has a different taste. :-)
Aminet is a good place to search for musics. Search around, there are several. :-D

Do you mean OctoMed SoundStudio or just OctoMed v4? In the case of SoundStudio you can still download a few songs off the MedSoundStudio website (http://www.medsoundstudio.com/mods2.htm). In particular the OnStage series on the second page should be worthwhile for the Amiga since it wasn't written on the PC version. :-)

Hey Yo!
Sorry, i didn't realise there were that many songs available for OctaMED. I am after songs that really show off the capabilities of OctaMED. And stuff with a bit of rock/guitar in them! :-)

Try XM(xstended module\fast trackerII) files these are harder to run bangs your cpu and sound a bit more modern than most of the other low channel mods.

Children.lha, that's not that Robert Miles piano music thing from a few years back is it? (Probably not but you never know.)
