Hello,
Does anyone know if there is any hardware to add text to live video without using a computer? I am very new to this forum.
Thanks

Ja, you can get a stand-alone titler:
Here's an example (http://www.hiwayhifi.com/site/product.asp?section=5&cat=59&sub=132&prod=14262)
But for that price, you could probably get a second-hand A1200 and a genlock.
You might be able to find a titler cheaper, but I doubt it will be a quality item.

Thanks very much. But is there any chip in the market, so that we can embed series of text to it that it will diaplay along with live video and then later we can change it in some other time?
Thanks

Hello ssrini75 and wellcome :-)
so . . . it depends of which quality you wanna reach.
Consider that Amiga, for titling and logos in "superimpose" is still used nowadays.
If you want a standalone titler with the option of loading graphics for logos and so, you have 2 choises:
an Amiga with a genlock interface (there are with Composite-YC-YUV-RGB output) and a good program such Montage 24.
or an used broadcast embedded titler (usually with an internal floppy drive or even an HD)
What do you want achieve in terms of quality?
