Well, I still can't figure out how to view my .JPG files in AOS3.1 under UAE (heck I probably couldn't do it with a real machine). However, just for kicks I grabbed the demo-version of Quake and the amiga executable and have been playing that quite spiffily! 25fps in 800x600, smooth as a baby's butt! Of course it helps that AIBB thinks I have a 14075mhz 040 8-)
Will GLQuake work under UAE? Hmm...have to try that one out. I 'spose I'll need Warp3d installed.
Well, I wish I could do something a bit more productive with it but this'll have to do for now...

There was a hack somewhere that allowed access to the 3D chip by UAE through Warp3D, but never used it and don't know much about it.

Dizaam, that was an unexpected surprise
re: B00tDisk
compare your libs against the "requirements" libs on this page
http://gothic.fr.free.fr/amiga/
{I, previously to visitng there, was lacking jpeg.library}
{yet I could still multiview any image}

[Eric Cartman voice] Sweet.

I can't quite remember, but AIBB reported my old p3 (clocked at 840MHz) as something like a 10 GHz 040... I don't think it's the most reliable benchmark :-D

Yeah, the math gets out of whack under emulation.
Thanks for the link, Whabang! Having seen Payback under OS4 at the SCAG meet I'm keen to try it, with 3D is all the better :-)
