maybe you haven't copied all the Monitor types from the Storage disk into the Devs/Monitors folder

You can use the Overscan prefs tool to make the buttons visible. If you haven't done so already, it would be a good idea to install Picasso96, either from the OS 3.9 CD or from the Picasso96 web site. The Installer script will detect the virtual uaegfx device and install the appropriate driver.

Yes, You were absolutely correct. I copied the monitor types into the Devs/Monitors folder and then changed my settings in screen mode prefs. This fixed the problem I was having.

you haven't done so already, it would be a good idea to install Picasso96
I took your advice and installed Picasso96. Wow! what a difference that made.
