Title: AmigaOS 3.9 w/ AmigaOS 4 look?
Post by: ShawnBaxe on March 01, 2005, 05:04:03 PM
I've seen some beautiful screenshots in the WB 3.9 section. A few of them had that AmigaOS 4 look. I guess it's some archive for VisualPrefs? If it is, where can I get it and what is the name of it? I'd love to apply the OS 4 look to my WB windows. It's smooth :)

The archive is VirgolaWB.lha.  I don't think the current version is on Aminet but a google search should turn something up.

I found it :) Thanks a lot, pal :D Combined with PowerIcons, it should give my AmigaOS 3.9 a cool look :) I should post a screenshot as soon as my OS has been set up.

That's what I'm working on now also.  Altough, I've given up on the Powericons since I don't want a Linux/Windows/Mac looking set and Amiga specific sets are mostly incomplete currently.

So you'd suggest to stay with GlowIcons? They are nice, but their gradients don't look smooth enough to me. Are there any collections of GlowIcons which have smooth grads?
