Simple. Nobody has bothered yet.

There is a kaffe port for 680x0 (IIRC), porting a java VM isn't the problem, it's implementing the runtime library and other interfaces required for full browser support.

Java support has been weak due to the Amiga 68K poor performance running java programs. There is a Java project in progress:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/jamiga/
http://www.jamiga.org/

As for Flash, only Voyager has Flash support. IBrowse hasn't had it due to its poor Plugin facilities and lack of SDK for developing for it. A common plugin API would help a lot of Amiga browsers to share plugins...

IBrowse should eventually have Flash support in next version: http://www.ibrowse-dev.net/faq.php

As for AWeb, there may be support for v4.

i see would it not be easier to take one off those open source browsers out there since you have to rewrite most of the browser annyways?

anny projects i can donate support too as in $$ to motivate?

True, but at the very least, I know the Plugin system for 2.4 is being worked on.

You can get limited Flash support with FlashPlayer from Aminet.  It supports Flash 1-3 and some of 4 but it's not truely integrated as it's an external player that opens its own window instead of displaying on the actual webpage.

We are currently testing the plugin API (which has been there since 2.3 but with a few bugs which is the reason no one got the SDK from me) and I am running the flash plugin both on 68k and PPC. Nedless to say, the PPC version is abit faster :-)
