Title: Elbox's Cocolino or Amigakit.com PS/2 mouse interface?
Post by: Redbaron1 on February 18, 2005, 08:45:30 PM
Does anyone here can tell me what is the difference between the Elbox's "Cocolino PS/2 mouse interface" and the Amigakit's "PS2 MOUSE CONVERTER" ? Which one is better? Both look the same to me.

Thank you.

It all comes down to which sticker over exactly the same product you prefer. :-)

Shameless plug but none of these work as good as mine.
Simple fact trying to get 5 mouse buttons and dual scroll
on a single mouse port relies on software trickery. switching back and forth between mouse  & cd32 keypad mode. Then using a scanline sensing system that normally goes fubar if you try to use it with custom screen modes.plus eats recources and has to hack into the system.

Mine is real simple the first three mouse buttons go to the regular mouse port the other two go to the 2nd and third joystick buttons on the other joystick port.
Mouse scroll wheel movements get maped to the second joystick port up down and left right. Which means the mouse driver software is real simple and small and doesn't have to hack into anything. plus it has joystick pass through and a built in joystick mouse switcher

what more do you need

oh the web address

have fun
