I posted a thread about a month ago re starting to use my 2000HD Amiga again and asking for advice on 1) replacing the keyboard and 2) communicating (mainly image files) between my Amiga and my PC. Of the generous advice offered (thanks!), I chose to purchase (locally) a keyboard adapter and CrossDOS Gold (version 7) and I can't get either to work. I've tried 2 different PS/2 type keyboards with no response from one and unrelated dialog boxes popping up with unrelated key presses with the other. When I insert the CrossDOS disk, I get the DF0:???? on the desktop. My impression is that CrossDOS needs to be installed on the Amiga, right? My 3.5" drive is a 720K DD; my KS version is 37.175, WB version is 38.35; the new keyboard adapter is a "Lyra". While I'm (still) waiting for help from the establishment I purchased these items from, I thought I'd ask the forum. Thanks in advance!

I can't help with the key board.
But with CrossDos you should be getting an
Icon for both 'pc0' and 'df0' depending on which
floppy you have in it. If its Amiga then it will
give you a PC??? and vice-versa.
The pc drivers should be listed in your mount
list and the drivers in your "Devs:DosDrivers"
drawer. Your start-up sequence has to tell
it to load the drivers.
Hope this helps.
