Title: So, have any of you shopped at Target in the past couple of years?

If you use your check card for purchases, you eventually see the screen at this URL:

I've been seeing that screen at Target for probably two years...it's on their check/credit card terminals in the checkout lines. It's just that today I finally remembered to photograph it. :) Had to use my camera phone...

Interesting, huh?   :-D

Yes, I have noticed that screen too...so, is there an Amiga behind?

You should like sit at their cafeteria until the bank guard refills the ATM.  Then, take a quick glance at its setup.  Make sure you don't let the guard stare at you.

While it may be designed by a former Amiga person with fond memories, it's INCREDIBLY doubtful that the system itself uses  any form of Amigas.  The reason is that we've NEVER seen it guru, and that there are literally thousands of Target stores, each with 35 or so registers.  There aren't that many working Amigas left and no real company would base the register sales for their entire company on such an unreliable, hard-to-replace machine.
