Would be interesting to know if available drivers for the Amiga could actually handle this card... As with the 5500 card at least the mediator drivers only support one of the GPU's and I'm thinking perhaps not all 4 GPU's would be supportet resulting in not much speed improvment... but it's never wrong with doubler the memory. Now where do they sell a prototype 6000 card with PCI connector? ;)

IIRC each GPU only has access to 32mb of ram so even the extra ram would be useless. I may not remember correctly though.

Bah, that's nothing, take a look at this beast (http://thedodgegarage.com/3dfx/q3d_aalchemy.htm) :-)

I'm not sure that the post was ment to show the beefires GFX card ever made but more what the beefiest "possibly" Amigacompatible GFX card made (well for classic at least and 'til dragon and Radeon drivers are on the market).

Sure, it's academic, as the Voodoo drivers use only one of the GPUs, anyway.

Brian : I also know that a Voodoo5 family card won´t be faster than a Voodoo3 when you only have got an A3630 or A3640 like I have :-x
