Title: DragonFly fans: Donate RAM in .de?
Post by: Floid on February 08, 2005, 02:54:02 AM
Okay, this is a shot in the dark, but I know some of us are DragonFly fans, and I know some of you are actually located within Europe, which probably makes things more convenient.

"chlamydia" (you can't make this stuff up) lives in Germany.  It's the machine that produces the daily snapshot ISOs, and it's stuck with 128MB RAM right now... which isn't enough.  'corecode,' its owner, has been griping about it all week on IRC, but may not know the right places to beg. :-D

If you have any DIMMs you want to give up -- specifically, PC100 or PC133, 256MB modules -- get in touch with him through his contact address on the DragonFly Donations (http://www.dragonflybsd.org/docs/donations.cgi) page, or visit EFNet #DragonFlyBSD.

Again, this is the master site for the snapshots right now, so if you want to install from CVS HEAD or a particular date instead of the last -RELEASE, it's where the convenient binaries are getting compiled.

If you don't care about DragonFly, please ignore this message. ;-)
