I own an Amiga A4000. The keyswich on the front fascia panel has been disconncted, but this has never caused any problems. I have just fitted 3.1 roms and during the proccess have dislodged the connector that connects the power L.E.D to the board. Unfortunateley I have no idea were it goes. The other connector for the harddrive L.E.D remains in place. I have tried the connector in various positions but cannot get the computer to work at all. I do hope I have not dameged the board. Can anyone please help?

Wellcome :-)
don't worry . . .you have damaged anything.
The problem is elsewhere.
Check if the new 3.1 ROMs are correctly installed (they are not the same) and if some pins, went bent during the insertion.
Try to post your config (Hardw-Softw)
Good luck :-)

@radar103:
With Kickstart 3.1, the delay for the IDE-harddrive has been increased to 30 seconds which means that if you don't have an IDE-harddrive connected, you will have to wait much longer for the computer to boot than with Kickstart 3.0 - atleast 30 seconds, so be sure to wait long enough.
This (http://www.megaburken.net/~patrik/A4000-front-cables.jpg) might not be the most helpful picture, but hopefully it should show you how to connect the cables from the front. Btw, the computer should work just fine without these cables connected to the mainboard.

The power LED connector is right next to the HD LED connector (It's labeled on the motherboard) IIRC, the wires should be on the right side of the connector if looking at the computer from the front.
But, this shouldn't stop the computer from booting.
