Hello
As you may recall, Hanson, one of the most annoying bloody group bands in history, had that equally annoying hit in the late 90's MMMBop. They were so annoying this group, they caused miilions of lives to be irrepairably demaged. Anyhow, they fizzled out for a few years after that.
After recovering from this banter, i thought my luck was in when this piece of brilliant work was delivered:
Busted Splitting Up! (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=13539)
At that moment i was really happy. But then i was struck down again. When i was randomly flicking through the music channels, i had seen Hanson's new crappy video,Penny and Me, i think it's called. As you can imagine i was horrified when i'd seen this, and was again left scared for life (after making a good recovery from the previous disastor). Also the lives of other innocent people are now at danger thanks to them.
I just hope that Hanson wont able to sleep at night knowing what damage they have done to us.
Best Regards,
-

-EDIT-
Actually, you may not know about Hanson.
Hanson - Official Site (http://www.hansonline.com)
-EDIT2-
You should link that .gif image so that it doesn't slow the whole forum page down. Like i done in the link that i posted to the other thread.

Nope neither do I... Give the boy a break chaps? Besides it's not like we've never made posts about mountain bikes or it being a certain day of the week... ;-)
I think they're just yanking your chain CU.
Anyway, Hansen irritated the bejeesus out of me with Mm Bop back in 1997 and I happen to have kissed someone really wrong whilst being accompanied by that song, so it's doubly prejudiced in my book.

Cheers :-) The only logical reason maybe is that whabang and odin have never heard of this group, and maybe think i am taking the piss! But they were THAT bad and really annoying.

Arrrghhhh.... You have caused me horrific pain by inadvertantly promoting Hanson by word of mouth. If you hadn't mentioned it on here, there would be a very high chance I would never had known about this comeback song. Now I have been reminded about the monstrosity that is Mmmm Bop, and it going round an round in my head!
You are evil Mr CU_AMIGA! Plain Evil! ;-)

I think maybe Odin and Whabang have heard of Hansen, but the trauma of recalling Mmm Bop might cause lasting psychological damage.
-
Oh my God, I was right!
-
Oh, I most certainly have heard Hanson before!

Me runs and hides.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmBOB!
....
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmBOB!
....
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmBOB!
(sorry, this was an attempt to troll, I'm bored, tired, and a bit absent-minded, and have atm a mindset of a very annoying kid)

Thanks Speel... No, really...
I spent two {bleep}ing hours with "mmmm-bop!" going through my brain like a red hot poker before it was dislodged by the mosy unlikeliest of things.
I realised I haven't had a curry in some considerable time, so Johnny Cash took over where Hansen left off
"duh, duh, duh, duh, duh-da-duh daaaaaaaaahhhhhhh"
"Burn, burn buuuurrrrrnnn, rrrring of fiiiirrrrrreeeee"
And now because of your post I'm back to bloody Hansen again.
-
mmmmmBOB!
mdu-ah mdu-ah
du-du-ah
hmmmmBOB!
GRAAARGH! :-x
-
But are you psychologically damaged as a result???
They rally don't know what caused it. It could be Hanson.
Anyway, it's alright as long as I take my m-m-mm-medicine! :-D

Noooooooooo..... the voices, I can still hear the voices..make it stop mummy...
BTW, does anyone know if it`s possible to sue someone for psychological damage caused by reading Amiga.org threads?
-
Reader beware?

"duh, duh, duh, duh, duh-da-duh daaaaaaaaahhhhhhh"
"Burn, burn buuuurrrrrnnn, rrrring of fiiiirrrrrreeeee"
God, I need a damn good curry.... Must keep repeating the above as a mantra, anything to stop the horror that is Hansen...
Gaahhhh!
My colleage has just started humming the theme to "Bullseye" and everyone else is doing Jim Bowen impersonations. It really doesn't get any better.
-
OH GOD!! WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU WARN PEOPLE YOUR POSTED LINK PLAYS MUSIC?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!????
I'm going to go jump off my roof now...
-
Erm, before you jump, could you do the following:
Put up the MP3's (or whatever codec they are in) of you doing that duet?
I ask because I figure this may well be my last chance :-D

The piece came out terribly...I don't know what happened. Every rehearsal was great and then the performers just completely bombed the entire thing during the recital. My recording of it is completely void of phrasing, dynamics, rhythms, and full of wrong notes.
I'll see about posting a version from my synth...
Thanks for the support though!
:-D

Eeep! I know how that can be, you practice till yer fingers are raw, but come the day, it all goes to pot.
I do feel sorry for ya though, must be awful to play back something you just know is going to be bad, and then realise just *how* bad it was.. I tend to do similar things when reading through something I've written, or look over a drawing I've done after a while.
w00t yet more synth music for my mp3 jukebox :-D
Do let us know if you do come up with anything that you're happy with that you've recorded, I'll be more then happy to listen to it, again and again, untill probably I get a clip around the ear by the missus with a stern warning to listen to something else ;-)
Hey any time, not often that I get the chance to listen to something other then the latest pop "sensation" so I take any and all chances I can :-D Keep up the good work!
