Title: amiga image format
Post by: moondynejo on January 31, 2005, 07:06:54 AM
hi guys i just have a quick question about image format on the amiga.
what is the standard image format used by the amiga for its background dislay?
you know the ones in the pattern drawer?
any picture converters or any programs that will let you display other formats in the background of WB?

thanks in advance,
                   joe

That would be iff/ilbm, but since 3.x AmigaOs should be able to use any image format for background pictures if the appropriate datatype is installed. To find/download new datatypes you might check out util/dtype (http://ftp.uni-paderborn.de/aminet/dirs/util_dtype.html) on aminet.
