Title: IBrowse Help?
Post by: ckillerh3 on January 31, 2005, 03:59:17 AM
Hi -

I just got my Amiga 1200 connected via HighSpeed
cable.  Hooray !  Getting MUI, Miami and IBrowse
set-up and running was a challenge but worth it.

Anyway, I have a separate post on the hardware forum
regarding screen resolution, but had a question about
IBrowse itself.

I tried to make the IBrowse window larger in the
SuperHiRes mode.  While the rubberband box opened
to the size I wanted ghosted, it would never open the
Ibrosw window any bigger ! This was odd.

Also, when trying to access yahoo mail the <> button
was not active so while I could draft messages I could not send them.  Any way to make IBrowse recognice this as an active button.

Last question - when I used Ibrowse to access Aminet and clicked on a file I wanted to download, I got an error message telling me that this was not an allowed protocol.
Do I need to also run AmiTCP or is the demo version of IBrowse limited and not allow file downloads ?

Thanks for any/all help !

Yahoo did something with its javascript awhile back.  Enter yahoo mail with javascript turned off.
