Title: IBrowse startup/shutdown logo problem
Post by: mr_a500 on January 25, 2005, 07:18:13 PM
I've had this problem for years, but have never been able to figure it out:

When starting IBrowse, there is a small window with nothing in it. I assume that this is where the logo or some text should appear, but the window is blank. When closing IBrowse, there is a smaller rectangular window that is also blank and I assume there should be some text there or something. The same thing also happens when starting Homebank.

I have MUI correctly installed and there are no missing libraries. I have IBrowse correctly installed. I have all datatypes working correctly. I have used SnoopDOS to find out what could be missing, but the only place it fails is looking for "s:WACL.conf" (no fails in Homebank).

Does anybody know what could be the problem?

This problem came up quite awhile ago actually.

It was resolved by reducing the thickness of the window borders iirc.

"By George, you've got it!" (..said with British accent)

Strangely, if you set the borderwidths at 1, 2 or 4 it doesn't work, but 3 does. Well, that finally solves that little annoying problem. Thanks guys!

Edit: Homebank logo only works with borderwidths 1 and 2.
