Title: Wanted: Amiga 1000 boot disk
Post by: stewjw on January 14, 2005, 08:24:50 PM
Can anyone help me out here? I'm willing to pay if someone can copy me a disk or send an original.

Unless someone knows of a way to burn an image onto a DS floppy disk from a PC?

Thx

Thats right "Kickstart", I've not played with one of these boxes since the mid 80s, old fart that I am.

I think I have a solution. Why it didn't come to me earlier, well we probably know why. I just need a null modem cable as described in the link below:

http://fellow.sourceforge.net/old_version/main/documentation/transfer.html

And drivers can be found on file sharing sites. But if anyone has a copy I'd appreciate it.

Hi,

I have a Kickstart 1.3 boot disk (not the original 1.0, but at least it gets the Amiga started!) that I used on my old Amiga 1000.

I'd be happy to send you a snail mail copy, or to email you an ADF image if that's easier.

I can be contacted via ali - at - squark - dot - demon - dot - co - dot - uk.

Regards,

 - Ali
