Title: More ebay Madness!
Post by: CU_AMiGA on January 11, 2005, 10:02:31 AM
Hello

Just wondered into this auction. Words cannot describe this auction. Just look at it and judge for yourself:

Mad ebay Auction! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=47103&item=5549991048&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW)

Regards,

I should just like to say that I'm happy to sell advertising space on any part of my body for a limited time only, and also am conscious about using specific bits for appropriate product placement.

For example I'd be willing to use my head to advertise beer as it's normally the first bit of me affected by alcohol.  I'd use my feet to advertise sports shoes, my hands to advertise writing implements and my face to advertise after shave.

I'd even be willing to rent space on my buttocks to political parties to advertise their policies.

PRECISELY!

However, to reflect political balance in this country I'd have my left buttock bearing the labour slogan of "You've never had it so good" (well since the 60's anyway: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4164647.stm) with a picture of Blair looking smugly over to the right.

On the right buttock would be a picture of Michael Howard looking nervously over to the left with the Tory party slogan "Watch out, they'll put up tax and ban hunting as well as letting in lots of foreigners!".

In the middle will be a narrow picture of Charles Kennedy, looking nervously to both sides as he tries to pick policies that are neither to the left, nor the right but somewhere in between.  The logo "We're undecided whether the war was a good idea or not, or whether to put up taxes or not, but vote for us we haven't been in power since WW1".

Somewhere unmentionable I might even squeeze in an advert for the BNP in a very appropriate place.

;-)

Just thinking out loud...  I'd love to see Jon Snow on election night with one of has famous "swingometers" graphically showing the distribution of votes.

If you're reading this Jon, my arse is available to display demographic info on Newsnight.  I feel it's a very appropriate way of representing the nation's voting habits...

Oh, and please don't vote BNP! ;-)
