Use this link (http://ftp.uni-paderborn.de/aminet/) to look for AmiCDFS and lha.run (if you don't have it). Explode the AmiCDFS file using lha (after you run the lha.run file) find the instructions for installing and mounting your CD, and voila!

And oh, BTW, welcome back! :-D  :-P :flame:

If you are using IDE you will need IDEFix 97 for the atapi.device and a CD FS. For SCSI all you need is a CD FS like AmiCDFS, ASIMCDFS or Xetec CDx.

Has anyone tried this way of getting atapi CDROMs working?:
ATAPI-CD-ROM am Amiga(german) (http://home.arcor.de/micky.d/IDE.html)
ATAPI-CD-ROM am Amiga(german)(translated to english) (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://home.arcor.de/micky.d/IDE.html)
