Guys
My 1084 monitor has a bad switch which doesn't latch in the on position. I need to jam something in the side(paper, pencil eraser) to keep it turned on. Is there a replacement switch I get get for repairing it? Digikey.com sells similar switches for $15!!! but this is too expensive.
Is there something I can find in Radioshack for a couple of bucks?
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
Which 1084 is it? I have a busted 1084 in my garage which has a good power switch. I would be glad to rip the whole thing out and send it if you want.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
Is your 1084 like the "Standard 1084" at the top of this page?

If so, I have a power switch (and just about anything else you might need ...) which you can have.
Let me know.

Ok, cool.
I will pull the switch and any connected hardware from the monitor this evening then.
I would assume you don't live in Massachusetts? Let me know how you would like me to get it to you. Don't worry about postage (unless you are outside the USA), it shouldn't cost much to send it.
Thanks,
Mike
