Title: A2000 back to live !?
Post by: duesi on February 21, 2003, 10:13:09 PM
Can ya guys help me a bit
I have an A2000 for resurection here at home
The Machine works fine and has Kick3.1...

I have a GVP GForce 030 Combo with a nice amount of RAM..
The original Setup-Disk tested and all tests:-) passed !
If I run FaaastPrep (from the 1.3.2 GVP-Disk) I get an error: Can't find gvpscsi.device Autoboot enabled ? Bindrivers ?
When i start from the 3.1 install disk i can access the partition on the HDD but in HDD- Toolbox theres no scsi.device to select...

If wanna install 3.1 how to configure the gvpscsi.device ?

I didn't remember it

Thanks for help

Do you have the install disk for your GVP? Because you need to install the gvpscsi.device driver. I have 2 GVP scsi cards, one in my A2000 and one in my A4000 and I got the install disk off of GVP-M's website. Click here (http://www.gvp-m.com/gvpmfiles/updatejapan.html)

Seems to me, I remember a website called Installers Heaven, or something to that effect.  Had gobs of install software on it.  You may find something there.  Regards. :-D

;-) There is a web site with install disks for obsolete hardware, incuding lots of stuff for GVP.  They also have docement files.  Check: http://www.L8R.net/install (http://www.L8R.net/install)
