Title: Anyone ever heard, seen or played with this?
Post by: GreggBz on December 27, 2004, 12:20:56 AM
X68000 PC (http://www.old-computers.com/museum/computer.asp?st=1&c=298)

It looks facinating and I LOVE that case. I'm currently trying to get the emulator to go and was wondering if it's possible to get my hands on one of these things?

Yes with looks like that, why did they not market it in Europe and stateside? Wonder if the FCC had something to do with it.

keeping my eyes peeled for one of these systems on Ebay.
Unfortunately, the OS as I have it is mostly in Japaneese!
Also, I can't seem to find any games downloadable.

Emulation (http://www.mameworld.net/mrdo/x68000.html)

An alternate OS (http://www.yo.rim.or.jp/~m_araki/kowin/index.html) i'm trying to get going.

Think I remember a belgian member of Hyperion almost got busted when importing a brandnew C64 in the early days because the C64 was discribed as ´dangerous´
