Title: No WB Sound on SB128

Ok after awhile away from my amiga, I decided to bring it back to life, So I've got everything running except from my latest part, yip the old SB128 card!  I have sound coming thru amp but thats the only thing that sound is coming thru.  All other things like payback and workbench toys make no sound atall.  I installed AHI from the mediator cd and nothing so then I installed it from the os3.9 cd and still nothing, I have changed the AHI prefs to use SB128: 8bit 44100khz in all units aswell as main and not a sound is coming thru except from wen I use amp.  I've search all over to try and find a reason for this problem and have no luck so if any of you kind guys could help me I'd be really thankful.  I also have tryed the mediator update drivers.

You need a cable that connects on one end to:

Amiga Left and Right sound outputs

and on the other end to:

Sound Blaster line-in input.

I have the same problem as you.
I have 2 sets of speakers one to the Amiga sound ports and the other set to the sound card on the Mediator.
If I play a game for example the sound comes from the Amiga sound port NOT the sound card.

If I play music from a CD then the sound can come from either depending if I have the prefs set right.

Example:- SongPLayer 1.62 my prefs are AHI so of course I get the sound from the soundcard same as OS3.9 Amplifier.

But the workbench sounds only come from the Amiga sounds port and never the AHI and sound card.

I dont know why ALL music/sounds cant come from the AHI sound card.

UNLESS I am doing some thing wrong some where.

This (http://www.stuff-for-computers.co.uk/acatalog/cab2ph1st.jpg) is what both of you need to get one sound output for both native paula chip sounds and the sound blaster sounds.

Thank you guys and thank you x56h34.  I fitted the lead and it worked perfect so thank you. And I hope santa brings you a nice A1 for xmas :-D
