Title: PPC latest libs

Ok people, now i have my system more or less stable..
Installed 3.9..everything running..
Now i want to take full advantage of my PPC card.
I have a 603+ card, with 040.
What libraries should i install? I dont have the original phase 5 disk...
And i want to be sure to donwload latest and stable versions..
Which files should i install on my machine?
Also..power up or warp up? and where to get them??

Hi

first of all . . . forget the original P5 disk, its ancient :-)

All you need, its the last WarpUP archive

WarpUP5.1 (http://www.haage-partner.net/download/Amiga/WarpUP/WarpUP_V51Update.lha)

the last ppclibemul (http://ftp://ftp.uni-paderborn.de/ftp/aminet/pub/util/libs/ppclibemu.lha)

and if you have a 3D GFX card even Warp3D

Warp3D4.2a (http://ftp://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/gfx/board/Warp3D-4.2a.lha)

Don't forget to install BPPCFix, or the equivalent module through BlizKick (is if you use BlizKick).

The linked Warp3D package is only good for native graphics cards such as CV64/3D, Bvision, and CvisionPPC.

Mediator, Grex, and Prometheus users each have their own custom Warp3D package.

Also dont forget to install WarpUP 4.0 (http://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/biz/haage/WarpUP_V40.lha) before you install the WarpUP 5.1 Update (http://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/biz/haage/WarpUP_V51Upd.lha).

@x56h34 : ok, great advice here, thanks! Im trying to figure it out how to make blizkick work!! Have no clue!! I just want to be able to reset the machine and have a A500 mode, to be able to play my old stuff , just like i did when i have OS 3.1 installed. I had Relokick and Kickswitch, which worked perfect, but since i upgraded to OS 3.9, no good anymore

@ all: thanks a lot for all advices and tips. I wonder what is all about ppc.library. Should i install it or not?? And what about 040 and 060 libraries? Should i install them?
And last silly question: how can i tell if my machine is running ppc? Is there any program that only works under ppc, so i can see that the card is working properly ??

BTW: im installing the Bvision tomorrow or maybe during weekend, should i take any precautions?
