Well..after an intense week, where a lot of things happened...and thank to you guys...i can say i have a normal, stable, 3.9 system on my A1200..
However...i found a couple of things that maybe happened to you guys also...
- Tools Daemon: i installed the patched version, following directions found on Greg Donner“s page. I patched everything and it worked, but when i reboot, it seems like the config is missing so i have to patch it again every time i power on my Amiga.
- Relokick / Kickswitch: when i had OS 3.1 installed, i used to have this 2 little programs, which allowed me to reset the machine, and when resets, it would emulate an Amiga 500, in order to be able to play old games.
Now, with the 2 resets the machine does after installation of 3.9, those 2 little programs dont seem to work. Has anybody found a solution for this?
Cheers and once again, thank YOU ALL!!
;)

Blizkick can boot to an unpatched Kickstart 1.3 image if you feed it the right command line parameters (assuming you have an accelerator board)...

oH YEAH!! I have a PPC board!! So how could i achieve that? Which parameters shall i use?
So, Relokick and/or Kickswitch will be no more useful to me, right?

You'd have to check the documentation that comes with BlizKick (http://ftp://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/util/boot/BlizKick.lha)
Just remember you need an UNPATCHED and UNALTERED Kickstart 1.3 ROM image.
