In another thread someone asked about registering MUI. (Was it the Miami thread?) Anyway, I had the opportunity to track down Mr. Stuntz. He assured me that he is still taking registrations. :-)
The problem is, one still has to trudge through a five year old website to find out that he accepts registrations through PayPal.
MUI's PayPal Registration Page (http://www.sasg.com/cgi-sasg/order_info?app=mui)
I hope this helps whoever is looking to register MUI.
And yes, stuff like this hits me in the middle of the night to do! :-D

Still can't register MagicCX...

That's cool - people can't just call MUI abandonware now and download an illegal key with no second thoughts.
I personally never registered MUI since I never, ever liked it, though I don't have a cracked key either.

MUI is usually good stuff, it's just the number of hack-developers making poor quality classes kind of ruin the experience.
I hope the next version of MUI has a method of qualifying classes, so the user can select "disable non-approved classes." :-) Now who that approval body might be is something that could be suspect, but I would still like to see an approval body of some sort or another.

;-) The last I heard, Stephan Stuntz was beavering away at a PCC version of MUI, a demo version of which would be included with AmigaOS 4.0. That was a while ago, though.
MUI is the first piece of shareware I ever registered. Magic Workbench was second.

MorphOS comes with a licenced full version of MUI PPC. :-P

:-) Here is what I'd read earlier, from the features.pdf from hyperion:
OS 4.x native MUI
As many applications use MUI, the well-known GUI engine, the latest version of MUI will be
included with OS 4.x.
The OS 4.x OEM version of MUI has a predefined look which closely matches the OS 4.x default
look and which cannot be customised by the user without registering MUI separately.
;-) This sits well with me. Registering my copy seperately will mean that my name and such will be in my keyfile, and will be displayed in MUI's preferences editor.
:-( My current one is out of date, as I've moved since then...

So you have to pay for MUI again if you're registered and feel like buying MOS? Pffh! :whack:

Well there is the open-source option of Zune...
Just for information, no flame wars please. :-)

Keep in mind that most of the PPC work was done by Ralph Schmidt so Stefen is more or less giving the license of the full version to the developers of MorphOS to be included with the software release. So the price of MorphOS without the additional cost of MUI is the same as it would be with MUI.
My question is when do we get to see a stand alone version of the latest MorphOS for existing PPC users to purchase? There is still a large base of users with PPC cards not willing to buy new hardware until after they've used both OS4 and the latest (non beta) MorphOS. I'd be in that crowd if I still had a PPC Amiga.
