Hi
From Moobunny.org, there is a sad message about Mr Bill McEwen daughter. She had passed away on May 6, 2004.
I also found this news on Internet:

================================================
Taylor-McEwen, Ashley Thursday, 06 May 2004 Federal Way Mirror Federal Way, WA. Ashley Marie Taylor-McEwen, died May 6. She was 16. She was born June 30, 1987. A celebration of her life was held on May 13 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Kent. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Ashley Marie Taylor-McEwen Memorial Fund at Sarvey Wildlife Care Center, P.O. Box 3590, Arlington, WA 98223.

Someone said that the news is a Hoax, and Taylor McEwen IS NOT the daughter of Mr Bill McEwen.
Is this message correct or just a hoax / scam?

Oh my god, that's terrible. Nothings worse than outliving your children. Poor guy.

I was looking on the website of my school (the one I left in 1989) and they have an on-line year-book for every year going back to the early fifties at that school. I was looking at the names and photos and getting all those flashbacks of what we all got up to (and getting that "aaaaah, I remember that guy, he was crazy" kind of feeling).
Two of the guys in the year below me are listed as deceased. I remember the one guy and when I researched what happened to him, I found that he had left South Africa after school and come to the UK where he joined the RAF. He attained the rank of Captain and was killed in a helicopter crash in Kosovo in 2001. It's sad, you know, because in a way we had a similar future, same age, both left SA, both came to the UK, to serve the public, but he is dead.
