What about in Lancashire or the North West?

Can always join 'SCAG' (Scunny Amiga group) ... ahem, all two of us :-D
-
@Holley
Hum,
you could do a sort of `distant learning` Open University type of membership?
-
sure, why not :-D God only knows how anyone would benefit in any way from being a member though, lol.
-
LOL, Im a SCAG member and proud :-)

Ryu, your link does not work :-)

Seriously though, are there only 3 proper active user groups here now??
-
hmm
E.M.A.G's little contributions seem to have been forgotten.

On my old website I used to have a map of UK groups - you cannot see that now, but the list of groups is here (http://web.archive.org/web/20040110165925/yourdreamnet.co.uk/amigacentre/modules.php?name=User_Groups). No idea how many are active.

Sozzy I guess a lot of clubs have dissapeared, long before my time on the amiga scene. If there's ever a Big Bash 3 though I'm so there :-D
Especially Peterborough, only about 70/80 miles from here :-)

The Amiga user group scene doesn't look that good as it stands from the response to this thread!
-
Yeah, it's a shame. I wonder how many active users are around in the U.K still?
-
I would guestimate somewhere in the order of 500 "active" users...
But I wouldnt say those 500 all support Amiga things anymore, if you know what I mean.
-
Yeah, I guess I'd be a 100% Amiga user, my New 4000 setup is great... but I can't use a webcam via msn so... :-(
I think I may get rid of my big box pc and buy a mini itx one though... just for that :-)

@ Holley..
Your Forgiven !!
hehe

As head of and the only current member of the Sunnyvale California Amiga Group (SCAG), in Sunnyvale, California, USA I can relate to you two from Scunny.
Let's go over on Ann.lu and fight over the usage of SCAG acronym. :)
-
lol, it's ok, we'll consider you our officially syndicated West Coast USA representative :-D
We're henceforth known as SCAG International!
-
@ Holley
Skittyhorpe and Sunnyvale, sister cities in Amigaland. I like it. I have seen these other larger user groups in action. All they do is serve drinks and snacks and show people their Amigas. Heck, I can do that!

Sounds like a quiet night in to me, lol.
