I have a amiga4000D wiht cyberstormPPC (68060/604e 233mhz)
and a mediator voodoo3 pci soundcard.
I have tried frogger to play a few mpeg movies.
Hasitates like crazy.
When I leave the sound off video is ok but with sound there is no moving video.
I also have this problem with the amplifier with amigaos 3.9.Only when I switch to paula mode the sound is great and there are no lock ups of my system.
Is my system not powerful enough?
Should I buy me a soundcard with decoder?

Try Riva for mpg videos. The demo is b/w, if you want color, then register it, $15US.

I just tried this RIVA player.
I doesn't play my mpeg videos.
This probably because it's not Mpeg-1.
I just figured out that frogger is not to blame,it plays my
video very nicely.
But when I ad the sound it goes wrong.
I wouln't mind buying me a soundcard(delfina) if this would help.
Waiting for Elbox (mpeg decoder) could take a long time.
I must say as I disable sound I am very pleased with frogger(the warpos version that is).
Surely I will pay 15 euro for this kind of software if only I could get this sound right.
Anybody?
