Title: Amiga3000T configuration. Help Pls!
Post by: FrankBrana on December 11, 2004, 10:08:26 PM
Hi

I have found, almost lost in my garbage, and old A3000T mobbo that I tried to repair some years ago.I think its the latest, no 030 on board

I have got an eye on it, fixed some things ( originally was leaked by RTC battery) then tried but no success at all. The only i get is grey screen if death. :-(

As long as the 3000T has A LOT of jumpers on board, and since the manual doent help very much, would be a very polite person in the community to tell me what is EXACTLY the jumper config for my mobbo?

I have 3640 (rev 3.1 AFAIK, and working in A4Kt latest revision), roms 3.1 and no zif memory added ( but the original soldered on board, of course )

Best Regards and thank you in advance

-FrankB

PS: Do you know where to get a clearscan or photo of the A3Kt board? Thx again :-(  :-(

Some 3000Ts shipped without 030s onboard, since they were marketed as an A3000T-040, and came with a 3640 as standard. Check here (http://amiga.resource.cx/photos/photo.pl?id=a3000t) for motherboard photos.

If I'm not mistaken, the 3000T jumpers are labeled on the PCB. What are they set to now? At least a handful of them will need to be set to EXT, since you'll need to get a processor card on there.

Yeah, thyre labeled on mobbo, but only as JXXX, and sincerely, I cant get the board to boot.

So, nobody, A3000 owner or exowner has a single minute to give me a hand with the jumper position?

I can tell you bout the current position of the jumpers at this very moment, since I dont have the mobbo with me.

Any help will be greatfully appreciated.

Thank you in advance
