One of our belgian AmigaClub.be members managed to read a SDcard using a pcmcia 4_in_1 reader on his standard A1200 !!:-o
"Ik ben erin geslaagd om een sd card te lezen via een 4in1 PCMCIA adapter op een a1200. Yoehoe"
This is not a joke !! I know this guy and his idea of a standard internet connection is through Wlan and a Wlan router. He knows more about tech stuff than I have ever known and I have the deepest respect for him, so I can say for sure that this is certainly not a joke !!

Uh, this has been known for years.

Then why haven“t I seen anybody talking about ?? This is the first time I really hear about it and I have been around for a while !!
In this case it may not be so unique then but still it looks special to me :-)

Didn't know it, but isn't a really big suprise for me either :-). It's probably also perfectly possible to use one of them 100000 in 1 reader thingamajigs for USB on the miggy.
Nevertheless, coolness 8-).

Odin : do you have a pci busboard to fit a usb card or do you mean usb in a desktop ? :-?

Appearantly our club member Flurk uses the same software as for reading a Compact Flash card, the Aminet software CFD.lha and Fat95.lha ... :-)
