I think there's a card or two which have problems with it. I have only used one card in my z2 daughterboard, namely an Ariadne 2, and I've never had any problems using that. In the same box were a BlizzardPPC and a BVision. Bear in mind though that Z2 is sloooooooooOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooow; I'm not to sure that a Z2 based gfx card would be a very nice to work with.

Well everything is better then AGA (well maybe the A2410 would be a candidate to only break even)

The X-surf doesn't work with your Zorroboard.

Ariadne 1 and GVP IO-Extender both work. It's a problem with 1 or 2 lines in the MicroniK Zorro daughterboard not performing as the set standard. Most cards are likeley to work but there are several cards that won't, be prepared.

Depending on the version of your Micronik Zorro2 board a Picasso IV will also not work .. was it version 4 ??? A friend of mine bought himself a brandnew P IV years ago but it refused to work ...

"I'm not to sure that a Z2 based gfx card would be a very nice to work with."

It sure is better than AGA when you want to do some serious work. Before I bought Mediator and Voodoo3 I did have ZII busboard and GVP Spectrum GFX-card. I can tell you that even ZII + GFX card makes your Amiga feel like a new computer. If you don't play games so much then even Zii is more or less ok. You get much bigger, more colourful and flicker free screens. It sure is worth it. You can't even dream about using 800x600 256 or 16vit screens if you have just AGA.

Because Zii really is slow when ccompared to ZIII or PCI, then some games seem to run better on AGA than on gfx card+zii bus. But eg. Napalm was much more enjoyable than in the AGA screen.

Ofcourse I would strongly recommend Mediator PCI-busboard instead of ZII or ZIII-busboard, because Mediator is much faster. Eg. Voodoo3 3000 connected to Mediator easily beats PicassoIV + ZIII-bus. Zorro cards are also still expensive, you can connect cheap standard PCI cards to Mediator.

most of the cards worked for me. The exception to the rule was a Buddah Flash. Although it is listed as a working card in the manual nothing made it work.

it seems you must be carefull on your combination of cards. in my example i had also an apollo 1240, PIV, X-Surf, IDE-fix Express and i think the Apollo caused the problems (it is not a recommended accell cards for the micronik board, but it was to expensive to change my accel cards just for the sake of it) so i continued to use my IDE-fix Express instead.
