Greetings,

I the time of year when you have to eat lots of food and go on a shoppings spree with your girlfriend and getting cozy! :-)

What was your worse Christmas Gift did you ever recieve?
Of course getting nothing is better than a cactus for a gift. Aaargh!! Why a Cactus, I ask. My girl friend never told me! Maybe this year she'll tell or I get her a pair of old socks! Also, a fruit cake! I hate fruit cakes!!!!

What was your best Chirstmas Gift did you ever recieve?
A dozen floppy disk last Christmas from a dear old friend. :-)

The worst present I got was when I was about 4 years old. My parents played this little stunt:

They asked me to write a letter to father Christmas, asking for what I want, and they told me if I was a good boy they were sure he would get me at least one thing on the list.
Well, Christmas morning came and there were about 8 presents for me! I was so happy until I unwrapped them. They were all my old toys, just re-wrapped. I was furious!
"That stupid father Christmas!" I said, and then I believe I threw a bit of a tantrum there. After watching this scene with much amusement, my parents finally gave me my real present, but apparently that scene was 'classic'

Ah, xmas!

Have already bought g/f her present, along with presents for my nieces.  The big kid in me is looking forward to spending christmas morning helping my nieces building their Lego sets.

Not sure about the worst xmas present, but an ex g/f bought me a book on Spitfires for my birthday that turned out to have cost her a fiver when she'd just spend £6,000 on a new car for herself.  That was pretty lame.

On a side subject, my g/f baked me a banana loaf yesterday and it's sitting next to me in the office. Mmmm!

Banana loaf, that makes me yearn for South Africa big time. My ma makes the best ones, but I haven't had a bad one in SA yet. That is a little piece of paradise with a banana scent, for sure.

still have to buy presents, next saterday is Sinterklaas (officially, Sinterklaas is on 5 december, and in Belgium it's on 6 december)

Hmm...the worst gift I ever got?

My gf bought me this authentic "Lord of the Rings" ring.

I didn't know how to react...sure, I had seen the movies, but I'm not a hardcore fan, and I don't wear jewelry. Never, because of my job and because I don't feel comfortable with it. I still don't know if she knows what I felt, but I got really surprised, because I thought she knew I would never wear a stupid "LOTR" ring. And I bought her that 700euro cellular phone she wanted badly. Damnit. :-P
