Title: Networking Pegasos to A1
Post by: Wilse on November 21, 2004, 09:38:05 PM
Now that I have my Pegasos and A1 both connected to the web via an ADSL modem/router, is it possible to swap files between the two?

Cheers,

Seeing as I have no idea as to how OS4 and Morph OS handle file sharing, I'm gonna take a stab and suggest something along the lines of Samba??? As I know both machines are capable of running Linux.

Samba would definitely work. I use it to transfer files between my Pegasos and A1200.

I guess this means you got your Pegasos online okay? :)

You're welcome. :) I'll be happy to help with Samba too.

Try www.amigasamba.org to familiarise yourself with how its set up. Although OS4 and MOS both have native versions, I don't recommend you use them, at least until you have set up the old, working, tried and tested 68k version.
