Just wanted to say that this is a good new theme and nice placement of the banner ads. :-) This site only gets better. Good work.

First, thanks for the kind words about the "new" (retro) header. I thought you'd all like that better than the cloud -style header.
In regards to the banners, please remember folks, banner advertisements and donations are the only thing that keeps this site alive in the first place.
Quite frankly, due to my own personal situation, were it not for the contributions of the site's dedicated membership, I would have literally starved these past two months. Between;
1) my mother passing away,
2) being royally screwed over by Bill Buck at Christmas last year
3) then only being able to find part time work (due to the economy and other factors)
4) Getting my hours at that job cut.
5) Getting divorced from a woman I loved after 10 years due to the stress of it all
as you might imagine, things are stretched quite thin around here.
I knew by putting up the new "retro" banner, some people would find something else to {bleep} about. In this case, it's the placement of the banners and I feel they're now in the perfect spot to do the most good for the Advertisers who make all of this possible.
Instead of kvetching about the banner placement, you should all be supporting the dealers who place them. They've earned it by supporting not only this site, but the community as well, but that's my opinion.

I definately think the banner is placed in a good spot. It gets your attention and makes you look at it on each visit. :-D :-)

Good job on the site Wayne. I haven't had a single complaint about any of the organizational/design/any other decisions at all, of either you or the site's moderators since I joined A.org.
Keep up the good work.

AFAIK that was their original place and I don't have any problem with it.

You're quite right with SimoAmi's (IIRC) top banner wayne, it's a very attractive graphic. And the advertisement-banner thing, *shrug*, not trying to sound patronising or anything but perhaps trying to grow an elephant hide goes a long way. Keep up the good work wayne!
