Howdy!
Got some quick sw questions..
I have got a lot of Amiga software on my PC and i want to transfer all the stuff to the Amiga this weekend, since i don't have internet at home, i have got to prepare everything here (@ school)
What i've got:
PC with all the amiga stuff
nullmodem cable
A1200 with HD (there is no software at all on the Amiga... except WB)
What stuff do i need to
a) transfer the files to the Amiga (pc and amiga software)
b) write ADF's to floppy disk (on the A1200 of course)
c) unpack some archives (lha and lhz)
Hope anyone can help before i'm done here at school :)
Thanks!

First of all you need WinRAR for the PC and UnRAR for the miggy. They are both availible at
http://www.rarlab.com (http://www.rarlab.com).
Of course, you need LHA to unpack UnRAR on the miggy.
To transfer ADFs to floppies use ADFBlitzer (http://ftp.sunet.se/pub/aminet/disk/misc/adfblitzer.lha).
Now pack the ADF-files with WinRAR. Do not use a dictionary size larger than 1024 (IIRC) kb., or UnRAR won't be able to unpack the archives. Span the archive over as many floppy-size parts you need (720 kb.).
Copy the files to the floppies.
Then you mount the floppies on the miggy (mount PC0:), copy everything to the hard drive, unpack it, and you're done!
Good luck!

yep, disk spanning will be the fastest way, serial transfer with null-modem cable will be SSSLLLLOOOOOWWWW.... :-D

Yup i know, serial is slow...
One thing tho... cant find UnRAR for the Amiga on rarlab.com...
