I'd love to go, but it's bit too far for me, too. :-(
-
is it worse than?
Total Est. Time: 7 hours, 26 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 467.41 miles (770Km)
* just teasing*
Its a long distance, which is why I want to find out)
-
It's 400km away from Toronto. :-(

This year’s show will focus on the AmigaOne and OS4 in action. Several A1 users have expressed an interest in setting up for this years show to demo what they do with their systems. We have some of the OS4 beta testers on hand to give presentations etc. Should be a grand time!
Always a good time to be had, people drive from all over Canada/US to attend, I believe last years record was a 9 hour drive!
Previous years shows have been well attended.

I'd love to go but I'm even further away.
Ottowa is a fabulous city.

Honestly? I would have love to have gone, but could never afford it, and to be honest, didn't even know (or maybe I knew but just forgot) that the show was going to happen.

@Wayne:
Have you been to Ottowa before? It's a beautiful city.
I visited last year and AmiNTT and AmiGOD met up with me, thanks in part to your fabulous site.
Cheers. :pint:

Again,
I'd love to go, but 1) it's too late to get cheap tickets 2) I couldn't really afford it anyway.
-
Haven't been to Ottawa in a while
(my relatives are from Quebec, so I do spend more time there when I go to Canada -- my french language skills are really non-existant so its not that often i go )
Wayne -- make it up to CT -- I'll drive the rest of the way
lol (that long of a drive bites w/o company -- at least I've got the iPod )

Is there anyone from Toronto or surrounding areas that is going? :-)
-
Connecticut is a LONG, LONG way from Alabama. Flying is the only option for such a remote show. I had been known to drive to Saint Louis or even Columbus, but not much farther.

Oh well -- the babysitter I had gotten for my daughter bailed on me at the last minute. :(
looks like it is a no go for me now...
Enjoy the show everyone
