I probably have 4 or 5 times more :-)
from early 1985 commodore magaizines to later CU-Amiga etc
Your64
Zapp64
Commodore User (64 & Amiga)
Commodore International (64 & Amiga)
Commodore Horizons
Commodore Format
Amiga Format
Run
Transactor (64 & Amiga)
some Australian specific magazines as well
Many many others from early C64 days
all stored in BIG heavy boxes!

oh yea.. I figured someone had more.. I'm just starting. I'll start buying more off of ebay.
-
Hey dude,
I am looking for the first issue of Amiga World magazine in mint condition, would you have an extra copy to sell me?
-
I converted all mine to CDROM... (destructively) It's much easier to carry 20 CDs than about 10 milk crates full of paper. :-) There were a lot of Amiga titles in the USA. Probably more than any other brand at the time. Certainly more than the market could support. :-)
Amiga World
Amazing Computing
.info
Amiga Sentry
Amiga Project
Transactor (Amiga)
AC's Tech Journal
AW Tech
Antic's Amiga
Compute's Amiga Journal
RoboCity News
I'm sure I missed some...
The really annoying thing is that I found one lone issue of Amazing in the trunk of my car... after finishing the 20th CD

pffffffff... I have more than that! :-)

Nice collection, I've a few Amiga World issues around somewhere, and that's about it. Fun to pull out and flip through every so often. (But sadly, I've lost all my old COMPUTE!'s and whatnot from the c64 days..)

That must have been an enormous project to undertake! Any chance of sharing those CD's? :-D
-
JimS: yea..whats up w/those cd's... what did you do? scan every page ? how about a copy? LOL.
As for my COMPUTE! magazines..that was a recent ebay purchase. I'll be looking for the rest to complete that collection. I do want the magazine that came with the Loadstar disks though (I forget which one it was..maybe it was Compute?)
I dont necessarily want every publisher's mag for the Amiga. But Amigaworld, Amiga Format, AC's Guide to the Amiga etc. I want those.
-
I have a massive pile of Amiga Formats stored somewhere in my Fathers place... They are not in great condition (Each one would get a Months worth of reading!!), and I'm -Edit- Not -Edit- planning to sell them :-D
-
for how much? (in US$) I wonder how much shipping will be..lol

Sorry, I just reread that, I'm not planning to sell them
But I had to carry them once and I recon it's two piles (yes, very large piles, and not only AF's but CU's, Powers, AUI's, Shoppers etc..) at about 25Kg each... 50Kg from here to the states is not going to be cheap.

I had about 300+ greek magazines related mostly to pc stuff, from 1990-2001 ... I had to dump them all, except the 1st one I have bought... It has sentimental value :-) It is a Greek mag, covering gaming in all formats of the era, pc/atari/amiga/sega/nintendo/cpc... :-D
-
ergh.. Think I dumped a couple boxes of what I thought were useless C= mags. Still have a few boxes full of Amiga World and VideoToaster User. I'll look through storage. If I did not toss the older C= mags I'll get a list of what ones I do have and maybe do some trading? Might take a while, but could be worth the effort.

@ TheMagicM
Well I do not have any magazines but I believe I do have a spare Commodore 128D owners manual. You know, the big thick spiral bound one.
-
I have all the amiga active mags and the digital one that came after, on ebay the whole set uk only and without reserve i will be throwing them away if they dont sell they weigh 13 kg and will cost me more than the price i put in the listing to post i will lose money myself on these to post them .Amiga active mags (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8145580206&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT)

Yes, I scanned most every page. At first it was manual, so I omitted a lot of ads and such. There are a very few imports where I only scanned the articles I was interested in. A friend found me a surplus scanner with an autofeed that needed a little repair. So I would cut the spine off the magazine and run the pages through. Zap... recycled paper. :-) I have thought about making them available, but it would probably be illegal. :-/

Well, it wasn't so bad once my friend found that autofeed scanner. The biggest problem was the early AmigaWorlds and the European magazines which were wider than the scanner's image area. It would almost certainly be illegal to sell the collection. Pity though, I would like to see it online somewhere - somewhere with bandwidth to spare. :-)
-
I have few boxes full you can have.. I dont want to get rid of them but I have no space. I will NOT throw them out.. I have almost all of the A+ amiga Magazines and alot of Run magazines.
